Hannah Montana had three concerts in one day. She had 333 fans in the audience in each concert that day. One hundred and eleven of those fans were male. What fraction were female?
Willy Wonka was five when his Dad brought an evil oompaloompa home to the chocolate factory. The evil oompaloompa ate three chocolate bars, ten bags of jelly beans and five gumdrops. The next day, the Wicked Witch of the West visited the chocolate factory and ate twenty cotton candies, four gobstoppers and two jawbreakers. The evil oompaloompas and the wicked witch of the west meet up. Who ate more? What is the total amount of candy they ate?
The previous texts are called Math Tales. These are short stories with a problem to solve. What I suggest you to do is to write a funny math story with a simple problem to solve. Use negative numbers and negative situations (ex. Temperatures below zero, loans, money, debts, lifts…). Work in pairs. Include your names and stories as a comment, and, of course, solve your problem!

Today I went to the highschool and when I leave my house I saw that all is freezing and the temperature was -6ºC .

When we go to the recress, the temperature was -4ºC and Jesús go to the caffé and bougth 20 gums, 15 lollipops and 25 candies and he ate 2 gums, 3 lollipops and 5 candies and he give 17 gums, 10 lollipops and 18 candies to his friends.
Now the temperature is -2ºC.
What is the difference of temperature between the morning and the afternoon?

80=0natural.
0-40=-40legs have.
-40+20=-20 legs have after.
80-20= 60 legs have at the end.
