I´ve been thinking and... I´m going to give a present to you, but I want you to do something in return. Try to answer the questions we haven´t answered in class, by looking for the answers in Internet:
Who started its construction?
What does it look like in the outside? Why?
Alhambra palace:
Which three parts is it composed of? (Write the names)a) Defensive part

Well... Goodbye, and don´t make the exam soo long... among other things to avoid the long comentaries of Laura :P
sorry Pilar I forgot to put "I" after Abd-Al-Rahman and that other caliphs completed the mosque :P
ReplyDeleteOne question Pilar: How do you say alfiz in English? or it´s the same?
ReplyDeleteGoodbye! :D
Hi! Be calm! I´m preparing the exam now, so I haven´t got the present yet.
ReplyDeleteSonia: Where are your answers?
Carlos: Your answer to the second question is right (Farid and Mª Isabel, I asked about the outside!)
Mª Isabel: we haven´t got a special word for alfiz in English. Remember: the alfiz is the typical frame that surrounds the arch in Islamic architecture.
The answers about the parts of the Alhambra are not right. I need the real names (Arabic names, sometimes)
But...I want more answers!Where are the rest of pupils? I think that only three of you work and the rest take advantage of it... :(
I´ll write to you later!
Anonymous, thank you for writing. We were waiting for you! Now we know how to catch you. :D
ReplyDeleteAnyway, as you can imagine, we know who you are. Shame on you!

The columns seem palms. If you look at it from different points gives you that feeling.
