STRING ORCHESTRAL INSTRUMENTS PLACEMENT

Hello guys

Now that you know lots of things about the bowed string instruments, it's time you learnt where they are placed on the stage. Watch this video and then complete this sheet with the required information.
I hope you'll find the activity interesting and entertaining -you know, it's essential for you to get used to listening to different English accents-.
If you click on the picture, you'll hear how a cello sounds.

Have fun
FLOR

  5. Hi Flor! I do the activity and I think that is very easy and funny, but I have one question:
-Why the cello in the video is called celli?
When you can, you answer me.

  8. Ángela, cello is an Italian word and in the plural is celli. Most musical terms -dynamic signs, tempo marks,...- are written in Italian since Italian composers were among the first to write such instructions in their manuscripts.
I'm really happy with the progress you all are making.
    Good work guys
